One of the world's great 10K races, the Crescent City Classic is an Easter Weekend Tradition, not only in New Orleans , but in the world. It runs on a flat, fast, 6.2 mile course that lends itself to world records as well as those who just want to get some exercise "New Orleans Style" and then enjoy the fabulous Post-race Party. This year our Festival Entertainment will feature the fabulous "Cowboy Mouth". They are sure to keep your feet moving long after the race is over.

Wearing Your Tulane ID
Tulane University Health Sciences Center policy requires that all Faculty, Staff, and Students wear their University Identification card at all times while on campus.
ID's are available in Room 806 of the Tidewater Building . Once activated your ID will allow you to gain access to various building on campus. For access into the Medical School and JBJ Building have your card activated at TUHSC Police Dispatch in the Medical School Lobby. For access to the Tidewater Building have the card activated in room 806 of the Tidewater Building .
If you have any questions concerning access to secured areas see your supervisor for special authorization.
Don't Fall Victim to a Phishing Scam!
What is Phishing?
Phishing attackers use spoofed e-mails and fraudulent websites designed to fool recipients into divulging personal financial data such as credit card numbers, account usernames and passwords, social security numbers, etc.
How to avoid becoming a victim:
1) Be suspicious of any email with urgent request for personal information.
2) Don't use the links in an email to get to any web pages if you suspect the message might not be authentic. Instead, call the company on the telephone, or log onto the website directly by typing in the web address in your browser.
3) Avoid filling out forms in email messages that ask for personal financial information.
4) Regularly log into your online accounts. Don't leave it for as long as a month before you check each account.
5) Regularly check your bank, credit and debit card statements to ensure that all transactions are legitimate. If anything is suspicious, contact your financial institution and all card issuers.
6) Always report “phishing or “spoofed” emails to the Federal Trade Commission at spam@uce.gov

Please report all incidents or suspicious activity as soon as safety permits. Remember to travel in numbers whenever possible, utilize crosswalks, park in well-lit and populated areas, and to use the TUHSC Police 24-hours Security Escort Services. Stop at the lobby post or call 988-5531 for information and safety brochures. In case of EMERGENCY call 988-5555 or 55555 if on campus, and 911 if off campus.
