June 2009

1) CODE RED (FALSE), on Wednesday June 3, 2009 at 1424 hours TUHSC Police received a Code Red activation on the Mezzanine level of TUHC. At 1425 hours R/O's arrived and discovered the activation was caused by a faulty smoke detector inside the air-handling unit.

2) MISSING PROPERTY (PERSONAL), at 0745 hours on Thursday June 4, 2009 TUHSC Police Officers responded to floor 6, TUHC. Occurred Thursday 6/4/09 0001 to 0745 hours. Unfounded.

3) CODE RED (DRILL), at 0850 hours on Thursday June 4, 2009 TUHSC Police Officers responded to floor 8, TUHC. At 0852 hours R/O's arrived and discovered the activation to be a drill.

4) AUTO BURGLARY (RESOLVED BY ARREST), at 1038 hours on Thursday June 4, 2009 TUHSC Police Officer observed subject commit auto burglary in parking lot adjacent to 1501 Canal Street. Resolved by arrest.

5) DISTURBANCE, at 1230 hours on Friday June 5, 2009 TUHSC Police Officers responded to 143 Elks Place . At 1233 hours R/O's arrived and discovered a disturbance. Subject departed without incident.

6) TRESPASSING, TAMPERING (RESOLVED BY SUMMONS), at 1512 hours on Wednesday June 10, 2009 TUHSC Police staff observed subject commit trespass and tampering. Subject summonsed.

7) MISSING PROPERTY (PERSONAL), at 1521 hours on Wednesday June 10, 2009 TUHSC Police Officers responded to floor 15, TUHC. At 1524 hours R/O's arrived and spoke to complainant. Occurred Monday 6/8/09 1600 to 0900 on Wednesday 6/10/09.

8) CRIMINAL TRESPASSING (RESOLVED BY ARREST), on Thursday June 11, 2009 at 1110 hours TUHSC Police was informed by TUHC staff that an unknown white male was sleeping in an exterior storage closet. R/O's responded and discovered the subject. Subject was arrested due to a prior warning of trespassing.

9) CODE RED (DRILL), ON Thursday June 11, 2009 TUHSC Police Officers responded to a Code Red on Floor 1, TUHC and discovered it to be a drill.

10) ACCESS DEVICE FRAUD (OFF CAMPUS), on Monday June 15, 2009 TUHC staff member reported fraudulent charges totaling $77.10 were made on her personal bank account from Friday 6/12/09 to Saturday 6/13/09. The location of charges was at an unspecified Shell Oil, New Orleans , LA.

11) MISSING PROPERTY (PERSONAL), on Tuesday June 15, 2009 at 0625 hours TUHC visitor reported missing personal property from Monday 6/15/09 to 0620 hours on Tuesday 6/16/09. The missing property, $95.00 bills in US Currency was stored inside of her purse. She did not recall leaving her purse unattended at anytime. No suspicious persons were reported.

12) SHOPLIFTING (RECOVERY), on Wednesday June 17, 2009 TUHSC Police responded to Walgreens in reference to a shoplifting in progress. Store manager identified subject. R/O's detained subject for questioning. Subject confessed. NOPD unit arrived and assumed custody of subject and departed en route to central lockup for booking.

13) CODE RED (DRILL), on Friday June 6, 2009 TUHSC Police Officers responded to floor 4 of TUHC in reference to a Code Red and discovered it to be a drill.

14) MISSING PROPERTY (PERSONAL), at 0931 hours on Tuesday June 23, 2009 TUHSC Police Officers responded to floor 3 TUHC. Occurred on Monday 6/22/09 from 1400 to 2030 hours. Missing wallet and contents.

15) CODE RED (FALSE), on Wednesday June 24, 2009 TUHSC Police Officers responded to the Mezzanine level in TUHC. At 1412 R/O's arrived and discovered the activation was caused by overheated food in the microwave.

16) THEFT (PERSONAL); CRIMINAL TRESPASS; WANTED ON WARRANT, at 1622 hours on Wednesday June 24, 2009 TUHSC Police Officers responded to floor 6 of TUHC. Subject observed on CCTV camera. Subject arrested for theft, Criminal trespass & outstanding warrant.

17) CODE RED (DRILL), at 0943 hours on Thursday June 25, 2009 TUHSC Police Officers responded to floor 1 of Childcare at 127 Elk Place. At 0945 R/O's arrived and discovered the activation was a drill.

18) CODE RED (FALSE), at 0956 hours on Thursday June 25, 2007 TUHSC Police Officers responded to TUHC 2 nd floor. At 0956 Hours R/O's arrived and discovered the activation was caused by dust.

19) CODE RED (FALSE), at 0957 hours on June 26, 2009 TUHSC Police Officers responded to floor 7 of the JBJ building. At 0957 hours R/O's arrived and discovered the activation was caused by sterilizer steam.

20) CODE RED (DRILL), at 2303 hours on Saturday June 27, 2009 TUHSC Police Officers responded to floor 3 of TUHC. At 2304 hours R/O's arrived and discovered the activation was a drill.

21) CODE RED (DRILL), at 1449 hours on Monday June 29, 2009 TUHSC Police Officers responded to floor 2 of TUHC. At 1500 hours R/O's arrived and discovered the activation was a drill.

22) MISSING PROPERTY (PERSONAL), at 1612 hours on Tuesday June 30, 2009 TUHSC Police Officers responded to floor 15 of the Tidewater building. Missing property occurred between Monday 6/29/09 1730 hours to 0930 hours on Tuesday 6/30/09.
