1) DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, on March 1, 2009 at 0745 hours TUHSC Police Officer observed TUHC ED patient commit damage to TUHC property. Subject was warned and incident handled administratively.
2) CODE RED (FALSE), on March 4, 2009 at 0730 hours TUHSC Police Officers responded to a code red on floor 6 of the JBJ building and discovered it to be false. Activation was caused by the release of steam by the sanitizer.
3) REMAINING AFTER FORBIDDEN, FAILURE TO PROVIDE ID, RESISTING, on March 4, 2009 at 1934 hours TUHSC Police Officer observed an unknown B/M subject on private property. Upon questioning the subject refused to provide ID and remained after forbidden. Upon Officers attempt to arrest he resisted by flight. Subject arrested, photographed and transported to lock up.
4) MISSING PROPERTY, on March 5, 2009 at 0930 hours TUHC staff reported missing property from floor 13 of the Tidewater building from Saturday 2/21/09 2145 hours to 1230 hours on Friday 2/27/09.
5) CODE RED (FALSE), on March 5, 2009 at 1248 hours TUHSC Police Officers responded to a code red on floor 6 of the JBJ building and discovered it to be false. Activation was caused by the release of steam by the sanitizer.
6) CODE RED (FALSE), on March 6, 2009 at 0738 hours TUHSC Police Officers responded to a code red on floor 6 of the JBJ building and discovered it to be false. Activation was caused by the release of steam by the sanitizer.
7) ATTEMPTED PRESCRIPTION FRAUD, on March 6, 2009 at 0845 hours TUHC staff reported attempted prescription fraud at a CVS pharmacy in Metairie Louisiana on Thursday 2/26/09 at 2000 to 2100 hours. Investigation ongoing.
8) CODE RED (DRILL), on March 6, 2009 at 1329 TUHSC Police Officers responded to a code red at an unmarked manual pull station on floor 5 of TUHC. Activation was due to a drill.
9) CODE RED (FALSE), on March 8, 2009 at 2130 hours TUHSC Police Officers responded to a code red on floor 8 of the Saratoga Parking garage and discovered it to be false. Activation was caused by contractors' pressure washing.
10) DISTURBANCE, on March 9, 2009 at 1229 hours TUHC staff reported a disturbance on floor 6 of TUHC that just occurred. Officers warned and released the subject without incident.
11) ATTEMPTED THEFT AND RECOVERY OF PERSONAL PROPERTY; CRIMINAL TRESPASSING; BENCH WARRANT, on March 10 at 0843 hours TUHSC dispatcher observed two B/M subjects trespass and steal a bicycle. TUHSC Police Officers arrested both and discovered one had an outstanding warrant. Both subjects were photographed and transported to lock up.
12) THEFT, on March 10, 2009 at 1611 hours TUMS student reported a theft of his laptop in the TUMS library at approximately 1600 hours.
13) CODE RED (FALSE), on March 10, 2009 at 1545 hours TUHSC Police Officers responded to floor 6, TUHC in reference to a code red and discovered it to be false. Activation was due to overcooked popcorn.
14) MEDICAL ASSIST, on March 10, 2009 at 2011 hours TUHSC Police Officers observed an unknown W/F who required medical attention. Further investigation revealed a physical altercation between her, her boyfriend and two other females occurred off campus. EMS provided her immediate medical care and transported her to a local area Hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
15) CODE RED (DRILL), on March 11, 2009 at 1501 hours TUHSC Police Officers responded to a code red at an unmarked pull station on floor 7 of TUHC. Activation was due to a drill.
16) SUSPICIOUS EMAILS RECEIVED BY STUDENT AND PARENT, on March 11, 2009 TUMS Student reported that she and her parents received suspicious emails from an unknown subject from Monday 3/2/09 to Monday 3/9/09. Further investigation revealed the source and no charges were pursued.
17) CODE RED (FALSE), on March 12, 2009 at 1518 hours TUHSC Police Officers responded to a code red at the Murphy building freight elevator and discovered it to be false. Activation was undetermined.
18) MISSING PROPERTY, on March 12 at 1515 hours TUHC staff reported missing property from TUHC floor 3, surgery suite on Thursday 3/12/09 from 1100 to 1510 hours. Missing was a digital camera and case.
19) ALLEGED THREATENING TELEPHONE CALLS, on March 13, 2009 at 1430 hours TUHC staff reported that at 1730 hours on Thursday 3/12/09 she received threatening telephone calls from two unknown females in reference to personal issues not relating to work. She would not elaborate on any further information regarding the situation.
20) CODE RED (FALSE), on March 13, 2009 at 1802 hours TUHSC Police Officers responded to a code red on the first floor of Murphy building and discovered it to be false. Activation was undetermined.
21) VEHICLE BURGLARY, on March 14, 2009 at 0555 hours TUHSC Police Officer observed a parked vehicles window broken out as if it had been burglarized in the 200 block of S. Saratoga Street . Upon owner contacting TUHSC Police he indicated that in fact it was burglarized and a tote bag and various school books were missing. The vehicle was parked on Friday 3/13/09 at 1910 hours.
22) BURGLARY, on March 17, 2009 at 0709 hours TUHC staff member reported a burglary on floor 5 and 6 of the TUHC. A review of the CCTV revealed 2 unknown B/M subjects responsible. A TUHSC Police Officer observed the subjects and positively identified them. They were arrested, photographed, charged and transported to lock up. NOPD item#C-18695-09
23) PICKPOCKET, CRIMINAL TRESPASS, on March 16, 2009 at 1215 hours TUHSC Police Officer responded to the Cancer center in reference to a pickpocket; criminal trespass incident. Victim reported subject was an elderly B/M and that the incident occurred on Monday 3/16/09 at 1400 hours.
24) ARREST OF WANTED SUBJECT, on March 18, 2009 at 0940 hours TUHSC Police Officer positively identified a B/M subject who had an outstanding warrant. Subject arrested, photographed and transported to lock up.
25) HIT AND RUN VEHICLE ACCIDENT, on March 18, 2009 TUHSC Police Officer responded to LaSalle Parking garage in reference to a hit and run vehicle accident. Review of the CCTV revealed at 1212 hours the accident occurred and a B/F subject driving a Honda Element responsible. The subject was identified and she and the victim agreed to exchange information.
26) CODE RED (FALSE), on March 18, 2009 at 2020 hours TUHSC Police Officers responded to Murphy building freight elevators in reference to a code red and discovered it to be false. Activation was undetermined.
27) CRIMINAL TRESPASSING, on March 19, 2009 at 0446 hours TUHSC Police Officers responded to a burglar alarm activation at JBJ building and discovered a B/M subject inside. Subject arrested and charged with criminal trespassing using summons C-18648 and released. NOPD item# C-22473-09.
28) CODE RED (FALSE), on March 19, 2009 at 2134 hours TUHSC Police Officers responded to Deming Pavilion room 840 in reference to a code red and discovered it to be false. Activation was due to occupants cooking.
29) CODE RED (FALSE), on March 20, 2009 at 2050 hours TUHSC Police Officers responded to the TUMS basement laundry room in reference to a code red and discovered it to be false. Activation was due to clothes dryer.
30) CODE RED (FALSE), on March 23, 2009 at 2000 hours TUHSC Police Officers responded to floor 1 of the Murphy building in reference to a code red and discovered it to be false. Activation cause was unknown.
31) 2 CODE REDS (FALSE), on March 24, 2009 at 0858 and 1400 hours TUHSC Police Officers responded to 2 code reds on floor 1 of the LaSalle parking garage and discovered them to be false. Activation was caused by a test of the sprinkler system by an outside contractor.
32) CODE RED (DRILL), on March 24, 2009 0946 hours TUHSC Police Officers responded to a code red at 127 Elk place and discovered it to be a drill.
33) CODE RED (DRILL), on March 24, 2009 at 1400 hours TUHSC Police Officers responded to a code red on floor 15 Murphy building and discovered it to be a drill.
34) CODE RED (SPRINKLER HEAD ACTIVATION), on Wednesday 3/25/09 at 0840 hours TUHSC Police Officers responded to a code red on level 3 of the Tidewater Parking garage. Activation was caused by a vehicle striking the sprinkler.
35) MISSING PROPERTY (PERSONAL BICYCLE), on Wednesday 3/25/09 at 1600 hours TUMS staff member reported that at 0900 hours he parked his roommates bicycle at the bicycle rack at the corner of Canal and LaSalle Street . At 1600 hours he returned and discovered it missing.
36) CODE RED (FALSE), on Thursday 3/26/09 at 1850 hours TUHSC Police Officers responded to a code red on floor 8 of the Deming pavilion. Activation was caused by overcooked food.
37) MISSING PROPERTY (PERSONAL), on Friday 3/27/09 at 1655 hours TUHC staff reported missing personal property from 1215 to 1300 hours in the Tidewater building.
